Whistler BC British Columbia Parks
As Whistler BC and surrounding areas are one of British Columbia's most beautiful and rugged locations, there are so very many beautiful parks and out door recreation spots in the mountains around Whistler British Columbia that we could not possibly cover all of them here. We will, on the other hand, try to list the ones we feel are more than deserving of a mention.
As always, we recommend that you do not venture into the wilderness without proper equipment and experience. Many of the wild areas around Whistler BC are so remote that it can take weeks to travel out to get help. These areas are also shared with wildlife, remember to remain bear aware at all times. With this in mind, make sure you inform someone of your travel plans and when you expect to return so that if something is to happen to you or your party, there will be someone expecting your return and can alert authorities that you are in need of assistance.
